John and Bonnie Niebruegge of Kirksville, Missouri, offer finished gaited trail mules. Finished means that our mules have good ground and saddle manners, solid gait, and lots of trail experience. To represent a mule as gaited, we require the mule to do one or more gaits bare footed or light shod, in addition to a flat foot walk. We raise gaited mules out of our registered paso fino mares and train mules out of other gaited mares. We require prospective buyers to come ride to get with the mule to ensure that all parties, including the mule, are happy with the transaction.
