KENTUCKY

The first AGMA gaited mule show held in Owingsville, KY on October 10, 2009 was a great success.  Numerous mules and riders turned out for the first event and we anticipate even more for next year.  The Owingsville Lions Club Park was very gracious to AGMA participants and have arranged for us to have next years show on June 12, 2010 at the same location.

Many thanks to all our sponsors; judge; AGMA members; participants; and especially to all the winning mules that made the show a success.

Thanks,

Paul E. Stamper

MISSOURI

Hello.  We were very pleased with our first AGMA gaited mule show in Missouri at the State Fair on August 16.   The licensed SHOW judge commented on the sportsmanship of the riders and the quality of the gaited mules.  The participants were so enthusiastic that I agreed to develop a website promoting Missouri gaited mule farms, which I am doing at http://www.missourigaitedmules.com.   I have uploaded the home page and will be adding farm links as they submit their information.  I have included a description of the show and show results in ..pdf form and several video clips from the show on the home page.

Brad Crismon's 2-year old molly Gold Coin's Millie was really impressive, winning all five classes in which she was entered.  She had also won five blue ribbons and two red ribbons and was reserve champion at the Shelbyville show.  Her sire, gaited jack Ragan's Gentle Ben, also sired the second place winner at our show.  He impressed the crowd with his strong, regular gait.

Thanks.  Bonnie Niebruegge

MONTANA

We had a great show in June with 7 gaited mules attending. Dixie's Stepping Out won all the gaited classes and then went on the win AGMA Colorado State Champion, too.

The show was a success by all standards with a record spectator and contestant attendance. Check out the Montana Mule Days site and consider attending next year. We'd love to have you!
